Well, life goes on... We're trying to get our shit together once and for all; there are a few job openings that Beth has been interviewing for, and I have more work with the company whose websites I'm designing, aka the databases mentioned earlier. Hopefully this will turn out to be a long and profitable relationship with this company.

Now that the dull life stuff is done... One sweet note... BROADBAND! Yes! I will be back on the ol' high-speed. Man, do I miss it. And this isn't just any old broadband connect... Oh, no... this is what used to be WinFirst, now owned by SureWest... The "fiber to the house" concept that has a TEN MEGABIT PIPE... not just downstream but TWO WAY. So I can upload a blog or send an email just as fast as I can download an MP3! Yeehaw! That will be soooo suh-weet.

My lady is brushing my hair behind me as I enter this, and prep for a meeting with the owners of the company I'm currently doing that work for. Can't wait to see where this leads. Anyway, catch you all later.

Well, the site is back, and so are we... and here's the latest...

Been working on some sites... hoping to be the main designer for this company... So far, it looks promising, if things continue... But we'll see...

As to being a daddy... well, the pregnancy was having some issues... we thought Beth might be miscarrying... well, it turns out that it was NOT a miscarriage, per se... It was an oddity known as a "blighted ovum" - a bad egg. It implanted but never grew past that - though her body thought it was going to - and so she grew a gestational sac and all, but no baby... :0(

But all is okay. She is fine, and it will pass. We were looking forward to our child, but this is probably best, since it will allow us to fix our finances first.
